Professional Summary / Introduction
Preeti Kalyan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Strategic Management. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from IIM Sambalpur and holds an MBA and BBA in Finance from Bangalore University. Her teaching interests include Corporate Strategy, Strategic Management, and Corporate Finance. She brings a blend of academic and industry experience, having previously served as Assistant Professor at CMR University, Bangalore, and worked with LIC of India as a Development Officer. A recipient of the UGC Junior Research Fellowship, she has published several research papers in reputed ABDC and Scopus indexed journals, including 1 A-category (under review), 2 B-category, and 2 C-category publications. She has also presented her research at various national and international conferences and has won several Best Paper Presentation awards for her work. Her research interests include Boardroom Diversity, Corporate Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategic Alliances, and Family Firms.
