Professional Summary / Introduction 

“Dr. Juhee Singh Verma is Assistant Professor, Food & Agribusiness Management, Prestige University, Indore. She is currently the Chairperson for the MBA Program of the university. She teaches courses related to Food & Agribusiness Management and Managerial Economics. She has also designed courses in Food & Agribusiness Management for the MBA program. She secured her Ph.D. from I.I.T. Indore in agriculture economics. In her dissertation she has tried to understand the patterns of unequal impacts of food price changes due to various shocks events and related macroeconomic crises on the welfare of farm households in the Indian context. Her research interest areas are public policy, farmer welfare, agripreneurship, sustainable livelihood, sustainable and resilient food value chains. She is part of an ICSSR sponsored project on “Examining the Role of Community-based Ecotourism in Rural Livelihood Diversification and Transition in Madhya Pradesh Tiger Reserves, India” under Vision Viksit Bharat @2047 as CO-PI. Apart from research papers she has also co-authored a few newspaper articles for outlets like The Hindu BusinessLine, and ET Edge Insights. Her recent article was on the Recent Stock Market Crash in India and the impact of global financial situation on the Indian markets. Apart from this she has also co-edited a book titled “Of War and the Human Condition”. Her hobbies are reading, gardening and writing.”
